Kelsey graduated from Tumwater High School, where she was a multi-sport athlete playing volleyball, basketball and softball year-round, including club volleyball and softball. Kelsey went on to play volleyball for Linfield College, where she earned her B.S. in Exercise Science, with minors in Biology and Psychology. Kelsey started all four years for the Linfield volleyball team and was team captain her senior year. While at Linfield Kelsey helped with multiple volleyball clinics, was a referee for intramural volleyball, and also helped build an after-school health and fitness program for kids in the surrounding elementary schools. Kelsey later earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Sacred Heart University and is currently a licensed physical therapist working for Providence Medical Group. She continues to play volleyball on a regular basis in an adult league, as well as in indoor and grass tournaments. She is very involved in the community and often volunteers for health fairs and wellness screens in the area. This will be her 3rd year coaching a club team.
