Tryouts are a crucial part of any competitive volleyball program. They’re not just about picking a team—they help ensure the best experience for everyone involved.

What to Bring to Tryouts?
1. Your proof of membership information
2. Your completed PSR required medical waiver
3. Your volleyball gear and a water bottle
Note: Tryouts are closed to spectators. Thank you for your understanding.
What is Needed for Tryouts?
Complete the Oly Reign Tryout Registration ($25) on SportsEngine.
Note: You will need to create an account if you don't have one already.
Have a current membership or purchase a tryout membership through Puget Sound Region ($20) at https://www.psrvb.org/memberships
Tryout Details
U14 Tryout - 9am to 10:45am (2 teams to be selected)
U13 Tryout - 11:30am to 1:15pm (2 teams to be selected)
U12 Tryout - 2pm to 3:45pm (1 team to be selected)
U12 Developmental Tryouts - 2pm to 3:45pm (2 teams to be selected)
Girls & Boys Ages 8+ are welcome to tryout for our developmental program!
Schedule & Cost Overview
Team Season Schedules
Team season schedules vary by age group. All teams compete in the Puget Sound Region (PSR) Power League. Power League is played at various locations along the I5 corridor.
U12-13 typically participate in 1 travel tournament and other local tournament. U14-18 typically participate in 3-4 travel tournaments and an occasional local tournament.
NOTE: Tentative schedules are provided at tryouts.
U12 Developmental vs U12 Gold
There are a couple differences of note that you should be aware of while choosing the best team for your athlete.
U12 Gold Practices 2 nights a week and travels a bit more.
U12 Developmental has practice 1 night a week and only attends PSR Power League. Power League is one day of pool play at various locations along I5, roughly once a month.
